Eco Kids Camps
Education camps are offered 3 times throughout the year! Children learn about community, environment, life skills, & arts. Led by educators and artisans passionate about creativity, conservation & nature. All children are encouraged to take on age-appropriate responsibilities, play well and support each other. There is plenty of space and time for free play to express themselves, try new activities, learn new skills and get muddy & messy while making great friends and memories.

If you have any questions regarding the pickup points, locations, or drop off logistics, please direct them to us.
-
Please send your children into camp in clothes that you do not mind returning home either splattered in paint or caked in mud! We are a hands on, roly poly kind of place. Please label every item with your child’s name and send the bare minimum to camp.

Children go into the pool in age appropriate groups and we have trained Early Years and Swimming teachers who look after the little ones and non swimmers.
-
For children aged 2 to 5, we have a ratio of 1:4 children
As the children get older the ratio increases. 5 to 9 years 1:7 children
9 to 12 years 1:10 children
-
The children on camp are structured into 3 groups to enable activities that are age appropriate to take place and to facilitate easy registration.
-
We register children in their groups throughout the day, 4 times a day. On entry, at snack time, at lunchtime and 30 minutes before home time. We also teach the children to set their own boundaries at the start of camp and children clearly tag where they think is in/appropriate to go. We have designated adults in the different zones of camp throughout the day and one person on routine
-
There is a lost property table that you can help yourself to items left on camp. We also photograph items and post them on the Whatsapp group for collection. If after 2 weeks they are not collected we donate them to charity.
Please label your child’s name on every item that comes on camp from hats, to clothes to water bottles and lunchboxes so there is no confusion.
