Dare to Care

Eco Kids partnered with Dare To Care’s beach clean ups and they came to camp to talk to the children about the benefit of looking after our local environment.

Future Centre Trust

Future Centre Trust has been in to discuss permaculture, conservation and the importance of environmental education with our campers. They learnt about reusing, recycling and repurposing. A great message.

Haynesville Youth Project

We are thrilled to be involved with this wonderful project. Young musicians from Haynesville have been in to play drums to inspire our young campers and to set the beat for their amazing dancers to perform. A wonderful project and example of creativity in action.

Swim and Sail Scholarship

As part of our Eco Kids Swim Surf and Sail project we offer free Swimming Scholarship programs to Barbadians that come from non-swimming families.

Graduates from the swimming program are then invited to enrol in our free Sailing Scholarship program to learn the basics of sailing.

Project Live Earth

Gorgeous George has been in to talk to our campers on many occasions, either to share his love of all things earthy and compost, to play guitar for them or to tell his wonderful educational stories that have children laughing for hours.

Barbados Turtle Project

This project is close to every Barbadian’s heart. Every year at nesting season you will see the Turtle Project volunteers out combing the beaches for hatchlings, Our campers were lucky to have the director come and talk to us about the nesting habits of turtles and answer all their questions.

Corral: Coral Reef Restoration Alliance

Corral came to camp to talk to the children in depth about coral conservation efforts and the impact of global warming on the coral population. Children were animated and absolutely loved learning about this fascinating subject and seeing various different types of coral.
